About Ricardo Cedeno
Dr. Ricardo Cedeno is a board-certified (ABIM) internal medicine and infectious disease physician licensed in Nevada, as well as an HIV specialist (AAHIVM). He received his Medical Degree from Universidad Catolica de Santiago de Guayaquil, in Guayaquil-Ecuador, followed by an Internal Medicine Residency in Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey and most recently an Infectious Disease fellowship in Cooper Medical School of Rowan University, also in New Jersey. Dr. Cedeno has experience in management of infections such as bacteremia, endocarditis, osteomyelitis, HIV, tuberculosis, among others. With over 11 years of medical experience, he has worked in a variety of patient settings, including HIV hospitals in his home country (Ecuador) in addition to Rehabilitation centers and academic centers in the United States. Dr. Cedeno enjoys traveling around the world, visiting his family, kayaking, cooking and to visit new restaurants in town. He is a strong advocate for excellent care to patients regardless of their background, race, sexual orientation and economical status.
