Anuradha Thirumalai, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC

Anuradha (Anu) Thirumalai is an experienced nurse practitioner prepared at the doctoral level. She has board certification as family nurse practitioner since 2015, with experience in Neurology of close to 9 years. This includes 8 years of acute care hospital neurology, in critical care, in treating pregnant patients admitted with neurological conditions among others. Prior to this, she held multiple roles within the Valley Health System; as a nurse, nurse practitioner contractor, healthcare quality director and educator. She obtained Master’s from UNLV, FNP certification from Kaplan University, and a Doctorate from University of Alabama. She trained under Dr. Venkatachalam Veerappan. She worked and works with prominent neurologists in town. She treats migraines, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, dementia, Parkinson’s, neuropathy, essential tremors among other neurological conditions. She is known for her compassionate quality care and sense of humor. Apart from English, she is fluent in the Indian languages of Tamil, Telugu, and some proficiency in Malayalam and Hindi.
